The Story Behind Al Bukhari

Turkmen Al Bukhari Restaurant was born from a deep love of Central Asian hospitality and the rich culinary traditions of the Turkmen people. Named in honour of the legendary scholar Imam Al-Bukhari — whose roots trace back to the great city of Bukhara — we carry that spirit of warmth, generosity and excellence into every dish we serve.

Nestled at Havelian Interchange, Abbottabad, we set out with one mission: to bring the authentic flavours of Turkmen and Central Asian cuisine to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Every recipe is prepared the traditional way — using whole spices, slow-cooking techniques and the freshest ingredients.

From our signature Kabuli Plaw and Mutton Rosh to our charcoal-grilled Bukhari Shawa (Sajji), each plate is a tribute to the flavours of the Silk Road.
